Save Lake Lanier

The water level at Lake Lanier has started to slip.  The lake is currently 1.29 feet below full pool and falling.  Parts of the Chattahoochee River basin are declared  "abnormally" dry for this time of year.  With all of the rain that happened over the winter and spring months, people are scratching their heads wondering where all the rain has gone.  Only spotty showers have frequented north Georgia over the past month.  With high temperatures, water evaporation has increased along with people watering plants.  How long will Lake Lanier continue to drop and is this the start of another dry period for North Georgia.
