Save Lake Lanier

The boating season is right around the corner and Lake Lanier's water level is at 1070.11 which is only 10.68 from full pool.  Rain has fallen at Lake Lanier an average of once per week.  The rain has enabled the water level to stay up throughout the winter.  Last Saturday was the first day of spring and the days are getting longer and warmer despite the slight snowfall that occurred earlier in the week.  The number of boats on Lake Lanier is predicted to be a lot more than in recent years because the lake level is high.  Hopefully the weekly rain will continue to replenish the lake level.
