Tonight, a 5 car pileup on SR369 over Lake Lanier dumped between 40-50 gallons of gas, oil, and anti-freeze into Lake Lanier.  The wreck occurred on Browns Bridge that links Forsyth and Hall Counties around 5:30pm with multiple injuries. The Georgia DNR expects the spill to dissipate and not cause any harm to wildlife.  Browns Bridge was reopened at 7:30pm.  Thankfully the bridge contained the wreck and no vehicles plummeted into Lake Lanier.

I saw some pictures from the wreck and it looked pretty bad! Hopefully everyone will recover from their injuries. Another example of why you shouldn't be talking on Cell Phones while driving!
